Yuksel Seeds returns to Expo Agroalimentaria Guanajuato

Yuksel Seeds will once again take part in Expo Agroalimentaria Guanajuato, to be held from 10 to 13 November in Irapuato, Mexico. Over the four days of the show, growers, technicians and distributors will be able to see the company’s varieties first-hand in Greenhouse 15, plots 148–150.

The plots will feature a wide selection of tomato, pepper, cucumber, aubergine, carrot, lettuce, broccoli and cabbage varieties. Highlights include the ribbed tomato Sweetloom, winner of several international awards, the saladette tomato Marcus, and the Saymon and Zeppelin cucumbers.

The line-up will be completed by open-field varieties, including the María, Linda and Amazone watermelons. All the varieties on show have been selected for their adaptation to Mexican growing conditions and for meeting the current needs of growers and markets, with particular emphasis on yield, fruit quality and resistances.

Sweetloom stands out for its international recognition: the Superior Taste Award in 2025 and 2026, granted by the International Taste Institute, and the Fresh Market Award 2025 in Poland. These accolades strengthen the variety’s position within Yuksel Seeds’ tomato range.

‘For us, Expo Agroalimentaria is an important event because it allows us to show our varieties in the field and talk directly with growers about the specific needs of each region,’ says Sergio Fuantos, Country Manager of Yuksel Seeds Mexico.

Throughout the show, Yuksel Seeds’ technical and sales team will be on hand to provide visitors with information on the characteristics and management of the different varieties, answer questions and discuss solutions tailored to each grower’s needs for the coming season.

Through its participation in Expo Agroalimentaria Guanajuato, Yuksel Seeds reaffirms its commitment to the Mexican market and to developing varietal solutions that help improve crop productivity and quality.
