Sweetloom captivates at Fruit Attraction 2025

Sweetloom, the heirloom tomato developed by Yuksel Seeds, became one of the main highlights of the latest edition of Fruit Attraction, captivating visitors with its unmistakable flavor and striking black-purple color.

Since its launch, this variety has quickly established itself in the market thanks to its exceptional quality, backed by international recognition such as that granted by the International Taste Institute in Brussels and its recent distinction at Fresh Market Poland.

A Tomato That Brings Back Traditional Flavor

Sweetloom is a ribbed tomato that stands out for its perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, offering an authentic flavor reminiscent of the traditional tomato. Its juicy yet firm texture, along with an excellent post-harvest life, makes it an ideal option for both domestic and export markets.

In addition, its agronomic versatility allows it to adapt to different growing conditions, ensuring stable production throughout the year.

At Fruit Attraction, Yuksel Seeds not only presented Sweetloom but also its wide range of tomatoes resistant to the Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV), including cherry, mini plum, ribbed, cocktail, pear, and pink types.

The company also showcased its latest advancements in other crops, such as Ivancan and Princessa in peppers, Zuzana in eggplant, Saymon and Reymon in cucumbers, and Cardona in melon.

Recognition at the Tomato Awards 2025

Coinciding with the fair, Yuksel Seeds was recognized at the Tomato Awards 2025 for its work in the genetic improvement of hybrid varieties and for developing solutions that meet the current needs of producers. The award was received by Mehmet Yuksel, the company’s CEO.
